Wheels & Tires

To deal with the different track widths of the Corvette suspensions, wheels with different back spacing were required. Mark chose some Snowmass 16" wheels from Colorado Custom, 16 X 7" for the front and 16 X 8" for the rear. Take measurements carefully and check clearances before specifying your wheel parameters when ordering. The workmanship and polishing on wheels from Colorado Custom is outstanding.

To enhance ride quality and take advantage of the Corvette suspension handling capabilities, Mark chose to run the same wheel diameter and tire aspect ratio front and rear. Some Traction T/AÒ 's from BFGoodrich fit the bill nicely. 225/55R16’s were mounted up front and 235/55R16’s were mounted in the rear. The racing derived tread profile provides a flatter footprint, maximizing contact in both wet and dry conditions. BFGoodrich Traction T/AÒ 's use the same tread compound found in ultra-performance all-season tires for extra control at your fingertips.
